No matter if you have a biogas plant, beverage production facility, or a natural gas storage plant – as owner or process owner it is your goal to ensure efficient operation. Performance losses, downtimes, operator errors, or even unidentified optimization potentials endanger not only the economy but at worst also the security of your plant. Good that you can rely on the experience and responsiveness of a competent partner during the complete equipment lifecycle. Bilfinger GreyLogix is at your side when help is required – this also includes third party equipment-, providing proactive assistance to prevent critical situations. We also ensure that your plant technology remains up-to-date just as the know-how of your employees.

The structures of modern automation plants become more and more complex due to integrated and interconnected technologies. A PLC used to be an easy to handle, independent system. Nowadays however, we use „Totally Integrated Systems“, which require deep knowledge and experience in order to operate all systems in accordance with the specifications and requirements. Various services must be combined to ensure an error-free operation of the plant with as little downtimes as possible and thus a high efficiency.

In addition to our 24h on-call service, the proactive maintenance and fast spare part supply further ensure the plant’s safety. These services help to identify, prevent, and defeat imminent or arising disturbances before they can cause damages or failures in the production process. In addition to these basic services, it is possible to book further services such as software and/or hardware update services as well as upgrades or suitable retrofittings, in order to always keep your plant up-to-date. You determine the scope of your life cycle package; ranging from „just enough“ to „carefree package“.

Maintenance & Service

Maintenance

Maintenance serves as optimal, preventive upkeep. Through regular maintenance – once per year – any arising or imminent disturbances are defeated or avoided already during their development. The combined maintenance performed by Bilfinger GreyLogix is threefold: preventive, proactive, and corrective.

During every maintenance, preventive measures are taken in order to be able to take appropriate measures before an error occurs. In this course, the plant is checked from a preventive point of view and necessary schedules for future maintenances are created. In consultation with the customer, any detected errors will of course be remedied.

Service & Repair

The Bilfinger GreyLogix service and installation team has a high degree of knowledge, which is constantly further developed in internal and external trainings. All service technicians are qualified persons in explosion protection acc. to §14(1-3) and §15 BetrSichV. Moreover, the team has sound knowledge in the areas of Profibus analysis and measuring and testing acc. to DGUV V3. The package is completed by appropriate certificates of competence for BGR126 (Safety regulations for working in enclosed spaces of technical wastewater systems) and BGR128 (Working in contaminated areas).

Emergency Supply

Spare parts that are not available on-site can be ordered via our spare parts hotline. If necessary, the spare parts can be delivered within 12 hours (within Germany) after receipt of order, provided they are in stock at our contract partners.

Premium Spare Parts Management

Our premium spare parts package is just the right package for those who want to have complete security. We keep all necessary components e.g. by Siemens, Rockwell or HIMA to 100 % in stock for you. If a stored part is needed, we can deliver it within 12 hours (within Germany). In addition, as part of our information service you receive regular information on updates, discontinuations, and replacements of the components used in your plant. Your advantage: 100 % reliability, no costs for storage or procurement, and – most importantly: the warranty period of the required spare part starts with the delivery.

Availability of spare parts is a crucial factor when it comes to reducing the downtimes of your plant. However, having spare parts in storage is a large cost factor, which combined with the logistical efforts should not be underestimated. The spare parts management of Bilfinger GreyLogix aims at minimizing the management and storage costs for the customers and to avoid storage of parts that may not be required. To ensure high availability of the plant, Bilfinger GreyLogix offers the possibility to keep a high number of the required system-critical parts in its own stock or to procure them by the fastest possible means and thus have them available on-site within a defined time.

Premium Spare Parts Management

If even more safety is required, our premium spare parts package is the right choice. We keep all necessary components to 100 % in stock for you. If a stored part is needed, we can deliver it within 8 hours to your site. In addition, as part of our information service you receive four times a year information on updates, discontinuations, and replacements of the components used in your plant. Training

BGxAThe Bilfinger GreyLogix Academy offers a wide range of training courses. Nowadays, more than ever, interdisciplinary knowledge is required as many areas in the PLC and PCS 7 world are becoming more and more IT-focused. Investigations have shown that regular training of plant personnel can lead to a reduction of downtimes by up to 50 % in case of disturbances. The participants are trained according to their field of activity. Whether you’re an operator, service technician, or system administrator — everyone receives the necessary expertise to execute his tasks effectively and efficiently.

By combining our system and plant know-how, we provide customers with the optimal basis for understanding and operating the plant properly. Our training staff is equipped with both extensive practical experience and teaching skills to ensure knowledge is conveyed in an effective and engaging way.
The training courses can be held at the customer’s location or at Bilfinger GreyLogix.
